“Pan Pacific Singapore makes its grand debut after a $3 million refurbishment on their most sought-after Pacific Ballroom, during the seventh month of the Chinese Calendar”.
Pan Pacific Singapore recently unveiled a brand new Pacific Ballroom after a $3 million refurbishment. As a brand built around the geographies of the Pacific Rim, the design of the new ballroom celebrates the unique sensory voyage of the Pacific Ocean. The honeycomb ceiling represents the dappled sunlight while the ballroom’s creamy beige and coastal blue carpet is reminiscent of a seabed of soft sand and ripples of the ocean waves. The new and elegant Pacific Ballroom has a seating capacity of 650 guests with a total of 850 sqm in space – one of the biggest ballrooms in Singapore. The ballroom –also offers a private foyer with a separate driveway for guests to arrive in style.
Elevating the grandeur of the palatial ocean-esque ballroom, are the regal amber crystal ellipse drop chandeliers representing jellyfishes in the ocean and are one of the hotel’s romantic touches for the party of your lifetime.
Because Singaporeans can’t enjoy the four seasons in our own sunny island, the wedding team at Pan Pacific Singapore has strung a quartet of new wedding themes that describe the four seasons best to make it a memorable night for the couple – Spring Romance, Autumn Rhapsody, Summer Dream and Winter Whimsy.
Their floor-to-ceiling glass wall wraps the private foyer just like a gift box. Boasting a spacious area for guests to enjoy pre-event cocktails and hors d’oeuvre as they appreciate the lovely shadows cast by the sunlight streaming into the foyer and through the coral-shaped installations on the glass windows. To add on to the Pacific theme, the sides of the escalator also have coral-shaped motifs.
Taking its already cutting edge technology to a higher echelon with a state-of-the-art audio visual system to cater to the four romantic wedding themes, the new foyer features built-in speakers, enhancing the overall experience for the ethereal feel of an ineffable wedding party.
With a smart and integrated lighting system, also known as P3 lighting technology that is only available in a select few hotels in the country, it allows the team to fully programme and customise the light settings via iPad during the reception itself – creating a sublime atmosphere of luxe and grandeur.
For those who wish to have their solemnisation in the hotel premises can choose from a variety of places – Pacific Centre Event Suites at Level 22, a massive poolside patio or the nearby pavilions for a smaller gathering.
If there’s one thing we’ve learnt from gazing at wedding after wedding each day, it’s that there are a ton of beautiful places to say “I do.” but what takes us away is Pan Pacific Singapore’s event suites. We’re really feeling the ambience in this sophisticated wedding alit with a romantic glow thanks to the full length glass windows and the natural light from Marina Bay’s landscape – for a warm and inviting vibe.
For those who prefer an alfresco setting, the hotel offers the poolside area and you can choose from any of the mini pavilions set amongst the lush greenery , or the poolside patio area that can hold up to 40 guests.
The Atrium Bar also allow couples to host an intimate gathering as they enjoy their favourite tipple and canapes by the 44m long bar – Asia’s longest.
Couples get a complimentary one-night stay at the Bridal suite, which is also the City Suite, that boasts a spacious lounge area with a flat screen TV, an ensuite bathroom, and a floor-to-ceiling view of Singapore’s cityscape.
To top it off – the bedroom itself has an enormous, gorgeous bathroom with a fabulous walk-in-wardrobe fully equipped with a dresser, a modern vanity mirror, and everything a bride and groom could dream of for their morning getting-ready session and their long awaited romantic night stay at the suite.
The recent refurbishment project isn’t the only renovation they’ve done in the last 5-years. The newly-renovated Pacific Ballroom complements the extensive renovation of the hotel in 2012 as well as the refurbishment of the pool last year, and now the new and improved Pacific Ballroom completes the transformation of the hotel.
Apart from a new Pacific Ballroom, savour exquisite and sumptuous Cantonese cuisine prepared by the chefs from our award-winning Chinese restaurant, Hai Tien Lo and a delectable dessert table curated by our talented pastry team for your wedding event.
